At We Did It! Our objective is to implement a more traditional approach to learning by incorporating innovative and educational activities on a daily basis.
In addition to our program approach, we have been established to offer low program ratios between children and supervisors. Contrary to the status quo, our low program ratios will allow our staff to get to know children on a more personable level while also recognizing their strengths and interests which will support our daily activities. In addition, our small program sizes will enable us to support the needs of children who have exceptionalities.
In the School-Age Care program, qualified staff at We Did It! implement and deliver daily Before & After school activities that are located in stable and nurturing environments. Through this program our staff will be working one-on-one with children between the ages of 6-12 while helping them reach their full potential.
Through the school-age program, we provide children with an equal opportunity to learn new skills that are associated with: Physical Activities, Computers and Technology, Science Exploration, Arts and Crafts, Cooking, Field Trips, Leadership Development, and Literacy Activities.
Adolescent Programs
Our organization has recognized that the years of adolescence is a period in a child’s life where they will discover the most about themselves. During this stage, some children may begin to cross the line by turning to drugs, vandalism, and other forms of crime.
We Did It! is pleased to offer a variety of workshops that focus on leadership development, literacy, cooking, and much more! By providing these programs, we are offering older children a chance to develop life skills that will further help them reach their full potential. In addition, these programs will help keep youth off the streets by involving them in productive activities that will build self-esteem and lifelong relationships.
